Class Overview - Biomedical Marketing (914)[edit
Biomedical marketing is a must take class for students interested in pursuing a career in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries. The course focuses on applying marketing principles within the existing structures and practices of the healthcare industry. For example, while the 4P's of classical marketing are price, promotion, product, and placement, the 4P's of biomedical marketing are physicians, payers, patients, and providers. The course has an extremely manageable work load while providing a great industry overview. Students are required to perform a final marketing plan analysis writeup and presentation as the final deliverable for the class.
