If you're not interested in pursuing those fields, but would like to learn about them, take this class. If you're looking for another class to fill up your schedule and want interesting lectures and a pretty chill workload, take this class. I probably fit into the last segment of enrolled students :) Calkins is a wonderful lecturer. The cases were all interesting to read, and we only had to complete two deliverables for the class: 1) We prepared a presentation that voiced our side of a debate that our group was assigned to. 2)We wrote a paper and developed a presentation in which we evaluated a product launch--our group chose Vytorin. To top it off, both assignments were done in groups which made for a very light workload. As someone I knew said, this class has the highest "learning to time spent ratio" at Kellogg. |
