Class Overview - Management Communications (450)[edit
This class kills two birds in one stone. It helps you get over your fear of public speaking while teaching you how to make effective presentations in the business world. Other than the first week of class, students have to make presentations (ranging from 2-6 minutes) every week. Scenarios range from presenting to a hostile audience to presenting difficult concepts in an easy to follow manner. Students who have had pre-MBA management consulting often choose not to take this class because they’ve had experience presenting. However, this class teaches students that pre-defined consulting templates are often not the most effective means of presenting.
