Class Overview - Operations Management (430) [edit]  This class is a survey course designed to give an overview on basics concepts of operations such as throughput, capacity, and utilization. Students are asked to read The Goal (http://www.amazon.com/Goal-Process-Ongoing-Improvement/dp/0884270610) in conjunction with regular course materials in order to drive home key concepts.
