Statistical Methods For Management Decisions
Class Overview - Statistical Methods For Management Decisions (DECS 434)[edit
Decs 434 focuses on regression analysis in business contexts. The Kellogg faculty chose to use an internally developed Excel tool named K-Stat to calculate regression coefficients and statistics such as confidence intervals as opposed to more commonly used tools like Excel or SPSS. The early part of the class directs students to construct regression models in a certain manner and to interpret their meaning. The second half of the class calls for students to choose their own regression model and variables and to justify their choices.

Professor Weinstein lacks public speaking ability. He’s a pretty eclectic guy and was famous in my class for busting out into a song and dance routine as class began. read more
