The homework assignments were a bit too mechanical…for example, the second assignment makes you crank out a number of Bertrand/Cournot Equilibriums. The tests, however, do a good job of gauging your knowledge of the underlying strategy concepts rather than focusing on the math stuff which you’ll probably forget after a few months anyways. If you take this class, make sure you take a good professor like Schaeffer or Matuchek. |
