 | The Keg - Overview Hot Spots | [edit] |  | | | | The Keg is a run down bar that gives out free popcorn and features a video arcade golf game in next to the front door. There are some ancient tables in the back to play flip cup. The drink selection constitutes of a few staple domestic beers and hard liquor. A small dance floor rounds out the amenities. But something always happens at 1am on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights that transform the Keg into the most crowded bar in Evanston. Students pack the bar like sardines, and whether it's through a boisterous game of flip cup or bustin' a grove on the dance floor everyone looks like they're having a good time. What causes the Keg to transform in such drastic fashion at 1am? Perhaps it's the students level of intoxication or the fact that the Keg is the only bar in Evanston to stay open till 3am on Thursday nights. Either way, love it or hate it, most students will agree that the Keg is the most memorable bar in Evanston.
On a side note: Monday night is "undergrad night", so depending on their perspective, your classmates will either think you're a "creep" or their hero if they learn of any Monday night Keg escapades!
