Managerial Economics classes (titled with the prefix MECN at Kellogg) tend to be popular among students interested in management consulting. Kellogg provides a good preparatory microeconomics online course for students to take before starting school. Managerial Economics focuses on the various factors that influence price levels in a market (i.e. supply/demand, monopoly/oligopoly structure, fixed/variable costs of competing firms).
